    Yellow Star of David patch of the type required by the German occupation authorities, starting April 29, 1942, to be worn by all Jewish persons in the Netherlands over the age of six to make it easy to identfiy and separate them from the general population.

    Yellow cloth badge in the shape of a 6 pointed Star of David sewn to white cloth backing. The star outline is formed from 2 overlapping, dyed triangles and has Dutch text in a pseudo-Hebrew font in the center. There is a dotted cutting line printed outside the star along the cloth border and hand stitching along the edges.
