    Interview Summary
    Edith Weigert (née Bielschowsky), born in 1899, discusses her childhood in Breslau, Germany (now Wroclaw, Poland); her marriage; the changes she experienced after Kristallnacht in November 1938; her husband's arrest; their decision to emigrate; the sale of their belongings and her husband's business; their journey to Bolivia; her experiences while living in Bolivia; her work at a Jewish school; their decision to immigrate to the United States near the end of the war; and her thoughts about the importance of educating youth about the Holocaust.
