    The papers consist of 2 documents illustrating the experiences of Sonja DuBois during the Holocaust as a hidden child in the Netherlands. One document is a vaccination certificate issued to Sonja v d Kaden and dated November 1942, and the other document is a distribution card issued to Sonja van der Kaden. Both documents were issued in Schiedam, Netherlands.

    Biography
    Sonja DuBois was born Claartje van Thijn to Maurits and Sophie van Thijn who placed her in hiding before they were deported to Auschwitz where they perished. Sonja van der Kaden was the name given to Sonja in hiding.
