    Interview Summary
    Hanna Goldschmidt discusses her childhood in Mahlberg, Germany; her education in Jewish schools; being forced to leave trade school because of anti-Jewish discrimination; her family's decision that she should immigrate to Uruguay, where her brother had settled; the loss of her father's business; being helped by the family to whom it had been transferred; and her immigration to Uruguay in December 1937.
