    Interview Summary
    Sharon Skolnick discusses her mother, Miriam, who survived the Holocaust; Miriam’s escape from Poland in 1938; Miriam’s attempts to bring her parents to the United States; the terrible guilt Miriam felt after learning that her parents had perished; and Sharon’s relationship with her mother and the psychological effects that the events of the Holocaust had on both her mother and herself.
