- The papers consist of a Deutsches Reich "Reisepass" stamped with a red "J" issued to Hans Wilhelm Froelich [donor]; a souvenir log of the ship S.S. Washington, United States Lines, chronicling the voyage from Hamburg, Germany, to New York in November 1938; and a photograph of travelers on board the S. S. Washington.
