Overview

Description: Consists of one memoir, 15 pages, entitled "My Story of Life in Italy During the Holocaust," by Liliana Briefel, originally of Naples, Italy. The daughter of a Jewish father and a Christian-born mother, Liliana's mother and father arranged for Liliana and her siblings to be baptized as Catholics (and for their baptisms to predate1938) in order to protect them from anti-Jewish measures. In the memoir, she also describes the events surrounding the arrival of Allied troops. Also contains one videocassette of a Yom Hashoah service in which Ms. Briefel presented her story.
