Oral history interview with Maurice Frydman

Maurice (Maurycy) Frydman, born on August 15, 1928, in Kraków, Poland, describes growing up in Warsaw; being the only child of his parents, Jakub and Anna Gutman Frydman; the formation of the Warsaw ghetto, after which his father was able to receive permission to relocate the family from the ghetto to Staszow in 1942; how when the order came that the Jews of Staszow were to be resettled Maurice and his mother hid in the forest outside of Staszow and later outside of Czajkow; and the loss of both his mother and father in the Holocaust.
