Oral history interview with Rose Goldkind

The interview describes Ms. Goldkind's childhood in Berlin, Germany, her memories of anti-Jewish discrimination, and the family's immigration to England. Ms. Goldkind describes her parents being interned on the Isle of Man for one year while she lived with various English families and attended schools. She discusses her parents' release from internment and their live and work in England. Ms. Goldkind describes her immigration to the United in 1946, and her marriage and life in San Francisco.
