Description: Consists of the document officially commissioning and naming the Second Croat Division of the Waffen SS, a mountain division given the honorary title of "Kama." The document is dated May 28, 1944 and is signed by both Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler. The official title of the division was 23. WaffenGeb.Div. der SS "Kama" (kroatische Nr. 2) and the division consisted mainly of Croatian Muslims. Also contains a copy of a photograph of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem reviewing an SS division.
