    The collection consists of a marriage certificate and a spoon relating to the experiences of Jan (later John) Wachtel during the Holocaust when he was imprisoned in Auschwitz concentration camp.
    Provenance
    The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1990 by Beverly Kagan Wachtel, the wife of John Wachtel.
