Fritz Grünberg papers

Documentation and photographs relating to Fritz Grünberg and his experiences in the Westerbork transit camp. Included in the documentation are lists of individuals and overall numbers of people deported from Westerbork to other concentration camps, individuals on the Stammliste who were protected from deportation, and individuals listed as "S" cases who held foreign passports or met other special criteria and were often exchanged for German POWs. In addition, there is documentation relating to an investigation into the Contact Committee of Westerbork, of which Fritz was a member, and the objections of Fritz and others to the description of the Contact Committee in the book "Deportaties". There is also documentation relating to Fritz's mother Helene Grünberg.
