    The collar patches indicate that the S.A. man who wore this uniform was a member of S.A. 'Gruppe' 5, which was located in Berlin-Brandenberg. The Florets on the right collar indicate that he was a S.A. troop leader (Truppfuehrer)

    Red armband with Nazi swastika permanently sewn to wearer's left sleeve; black and white interwoven rope, approximately 4 inches long across top of wearer's right shoulder; black and white piping lines the collar; black and white, loose, grosgrain ribbon attached to button on flap of wearer's left chest pocket, then tucks in to pocket itself; black felt patches on both collars, permanently sewn; right collar has patch with metal number "5" attached; the left collar has two rectangular silver pins; both patches piped in black and white.
