Luba Tryszynska-Frederick papers

The collection documents the Holocaust experiences of Luba Tryszynska-Frederick who rescued 54 children left for dead by the Nazis while she was imprisoned in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Included in the collection is biographical material, correspondence, writings and clippings about Luba’s story, photographs, and material related to the 50th anniversary celebration of the liberation of Bergen-Belsen in Amsterdam in 1995 where Luba was reunited with the children she saved.
