Marius Gherovici, born on January 1, 1928 in Bucharest, Romania, discusses living in Galatz (Galați, Romania) and Kishinev (Chişinău, Moldova) from 1933 to 1939; living in the Kishinev Ghetto from 1941 to 1942; hiding in Moldova and Bucharest from 1942 to 1944; traveling to Italy, Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina; getting married in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 24, 1955; and immigrating to the United States in 1999.
