    Chaim Goldenstein, born in Bessarabia, Romania, discusses living in Bessarabia until 1923; his contacts with youth from Odessa (Bialik) and Jabotinsky-Bolsheviks (Komsomol) in Kishinev (now Chisinau, Moldova); Moldavia factory proletariat; immigrating to Palestine in 1933; going to Spain; being sent to a prison camp in France; internment in a camp in Algeria in 1943; being sent to Siberia; war front in Romania; partisan activity; and political changes in Romania after Soviet control.
