    Jelena Isah-Hidvegi (née Kellner), born on October 21, 1914 in Padina, Vojvodina, Yugoslavia (now in Serbia), discusses studying medicine in Belgrade; the impact of Yugoslav-German pact of 1940 and the Soviet-German pact; taking part in anti-Nazi demonstrations; the German occupation of Belgrade; the deportations of men from Banat; the deportations of women to Sajmiste (camp Zemun); the gassing in trucks; going to Bitolj, Macedonia under Bulgarian rule; the deportations of Macedonian Jews to Skopje, Macedonia in March 1943; the deportations to Treblinka; and how she and a few other doctors were saved.
