    Ibolya Mandel (née Neumann), born on September 12, 1920 in Cluj, Romania, discusses her early life and family; being forced to move to the Cluj (Kolozsvár) Ghetto in May 1944; transport to Auschwitz concentration camp; forced labor at an ammunition factory near Auschwitz; being wounded when a train was bombed at the end of the war; losing her leg; the physical and psychological after-effects; and marrying Max Mandel.
