    Annemarie Mueller (née Sauer), born on September 8, 1928 in Stuttgart, Germany, discusses her early life as a German Lutheran child; the bombing of her home and relocating to another part of town; the Gestapo sending her to a home for special needs in Urbach; being placed in solitary confinement for six months; being transferred to Irrenanstalt Winnenthal which was a mental institution; attempting to escape; being transferred to Buttenhausen labor camp in Schloss; her post-war work for the United States Army; and immigrating to the United States in 1952.
