    Interview Summary
    Eva Radovancev-Kende, born in Zrenjanin, Yugoslavia, discusses the German occupation of Yugoslavia; forced labor; being forced to march to the Begy River and put on a barge to Belgrade in August 1941; men sent to camp Topovske Supe where they were killed; women and children sent to camp Sajmiste where many were gassed; Eva, her mother and siblings fleeing Belgrade to Hungary with the help of a Serbian lawyer; living safely in Budapest until the German occupation in March 1944; being hidden by a Hungarian from the evangelical community; and returning to Yugoslavia.
