    Dimitri Rozenfeld, born on April 9, 1918 in Berdocjev, Ukraine, discusses his employment as an engineer; working in building construction; mobilizing with the Soviet Army in May 1941; getting wounded at Stalingrad in 1942; his six month hospitalization; remaining in the Soviet Army until 1961; demobilizing with the rank of colonel; and eventual emigration to the United States.
