    Lola Birnbaum (née Bulka), born in Konin, Poland, discusses living in Ostrowiec ghetto in November 1939; Bozachoff [PH] ghetto; Starachowice; forced labor; deportation to Auschwitz concentration camp in July 1944; intake, conditions, and crematoria at Auschwitz; hiding in the lavatories during selections; death march to Gross-Rosen in October 1944, liberation on May 8, 1945; returning to ?ód?; living in New Palestine displaced persons camp; and immigrating to the United States February 10, 1947 after receiving an affidavit from her brother.
