    Interview Summary
    Kalman Jakubowicz, born on November 25, 1910 in Sosnowiec, Poland, discusses owning a men's clothing store; his deportation to Markstädt labor camp after the invasion in 1939; Gross- Rosen (Krupp), Buchenwald, Dachau and Theresienstadt concentration camps; liberation by the Soviets at Theresienstadt; difficulty immigrating to the United States postwar; going to Sweden to obtain a visa for Cuba in 1946; and leaving Cuba for the United States in 1966.
