    Piri Katz, born in Tibava, Czechoslovakia, discusses her large family; her Polish cousins fleeing to them for safety; internment in Munkacs ghetto; the deportation to Auschwitz concentration camp; Geislingen; being punished for stealing potatoes; protecting her sister; liberation by the Soviets while at Dachau concentration camp; imprisonment by the Soviets as a fascist since she didn't have a tattoo; escaping to Pocking, Holzhausen, and Wasserburg displaced persons camps in Germany; and immigrating to the United States in 1949.
