    Interview Summary
    Bertha Leifer (née Wieder), born on November 29, 1923 in Reghin, Romania, discusses her deportation from her prewar home in Toplica, Romania to the Cluj ghetto in 1939; deportation to Auschwitz concentration camp for six weeks in 1944, then to Stutthof concentration camp in July 1944; liberation by the Soviets; living in Wasserburg displaced persons camp for three years postwar; and immigrating to the United States on August 17, 1949.
