    Interview Summary
    Betty Migdol (née Slomowitz), born on December 19, 1927 in Ruscova, Romania, discusses her religious family; the Hungarian occupation; her deportation to a Hungarian ghetto in Belshavisha (phonetic) for six weeks; her internment in Auschwitz from May to December 1944; her internment in Weißwasser labor camp until liberation on May 9, 1945; staying with Czech families for six months, living in Lampertheim displaced persons camp outside Frankfurt from 1945 to 1947; and immigrating to the United States in February 1947.
