    Interview Summary
    Abe Stern, born on February 9, 1923 in Strâmtura, Romania, discusses his internment in Dragomire?ti ghetto in April 1944 for six weeks; deportation to Auschwitz four or five days; going through Buchenwald to Dora for forced labor in the mines for one month; internment in Harzungen labor camp from 1944 to 1945; transferring to Bergen-Belsen where he was liberated; living in Sweden from July 1945 to December 1947; and immigrating to the United States in January 1948.
