Overview

Description: Contains a photograph of Herman and Helen Weissbard and their daughter Lucie (donor), aboard a train in Bremerhaven, Bramen, Germany during their postwar emigration from Germany to the United States. Herman and Helen had been interned in the Sambor ghetto and then as slave laborers in Sambor, Poland (present day Ukraine). After their liberation they were in Bad Reichenhall displaced persons camp; dated circa 1948.
