Esther and Robert Born papers

Contains papers from Esther (Wittlin) Born, who survived in hiding and on the run near Żółkiew, Poland (present-day Zhovkva, Ukraine), including her diary (in Polish), her autograph album, and her essay about arriving in the United States (1953). Also includes an English translation of the diary and Wittlin family genealogy (in donor file), and a notebook with memoirs by Robert Born, who survived the Warsaw Ghetto, Buchenwald, Majdanek and other locations.
