Oral history interview with Jaroslav Vyoral

Jaroslav Vyoral, born in 1927 in Ostrava, Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic), describes the local Jewish community of Hranice; conditions under the German occupation; the deportation of the Jewish community in 1942; the looting of Jewish-owned shops by German soldiers; a forced march of Jewish children; and how after the war he met a known collaborator who had managed to avoid persecution and had confiscated a Jewish-owned villa during the war and kept a daughter of the family as a servant.
