Permit to leave Dachau concentration camp

Permit, dated April-June 1945, issued to 1st Lt. William Michael Looney (donor's father) to enter and leave the former concentration camp Dachau at any time. First Lt. Looney participted in the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp and served as a platoon leader of the 116th Evacuation Hospital. For his service he received the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the Army of Occupation of Germany Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal; dated c. April-June 1945
