The collection consists of artifacts, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of Max Amichai Heppner and his family before the Holocaust in Germany, before and during the Holocaust in Germany and the Netherlands, when Max and his parents, Dr. Albert and Irene Heppner, lived in hiding, and after the Holocaust in the Netherlands and the United States.
Provenance
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1990 by Max Amichai Heppner.
