Stanley Sarnack letter

Consists of one letter, handwritten, 2 pages, from Stanley Sarnack, to Stella Wells of Utica, NY, dated May 2nd, 1945, and written from "somewhere in Germany." In the letter, Sarnack, a member of the 102th Infantry Division of the Ninth Army, mentions German atrocities he had witnessed, including a building where bodies were burned alive [likely the Gardelegen atrocities].
