    Daniil Romanovksy is an Israeli historian whose research focus is on the Soviet Union and the Holocaust. His research includes interviews he conducted with Holocaust survivors and eyewitnesses in the 1970s-1990s. In addition to authoring several publications, he has affiliations with the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Yad Vashem.

    Administrative Notes

    Daniil Romanovsky and Mikhail Ryvkin collected these testimonies in 1980s and early 1990s in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. Daniil Romanovsky donated this collection to the USHMM in August, 2014. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in September 2014.
