Jacques Stambul had been arrested in November 1943 in France and deported to Buchenwald where he was interned from 17 November 1943 to April 1945.. It also includes a badge and a prisoner patch worn by Jacques Stambul in Buchenwald.

- The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1992 by Dora and Béatrice Stambul, the wife and daughter of Jacques Stambul.
