All were active in the Zionist underground in Sosnowiec during the German occupation.  Pictured from left to right are, Dr. Bursztyn, Josef Kozhuch, Samek Meitlis, Lola Pomeranzblum, and Benjamin Bimko (the donor's brother).  Samek and Lola were married.  All but Dr. Bursztyn were shot by the Germans during the final liquidation of the ghetto in August 1943.

    Biography
    Lola Pomeranzblum was the daughter of Minka Perancblum, and had three siblings: Motek, Willek (Wolf), and Hella. After the German invasion, Willek and Hella were able to go into hiding, using falsified Aryan papers. Lola's mother, siblings, and niece Ausia (daughter of Hella) all survived the Holocaust.
