Portrait of the extended Kupfermann family in Budapest.

Pictured in the front row from left to right are Rezinka and Piri Kupfermann, Gyury Friedman, grandmother Kupfermann, Aurel Kupfermann, Osias Kupferman, and Boriska Kupfermann. Standing from left to right are: Arpad Friedman, Blanka and Beno Kupfermann, and Andres Kupfermann. Osias Kupferman was the cantor of a synagogue in Buda. Arpad and Piri (Kupfermann) Friedman and their son Gyury later emigrated to Uruguay. Andres Kupferman was an opera singer, whose stage name was Andor Koves. He was also an athlete who had won medals at the 1928 Olympics. He also emigrated to Uruguay.
