A doctor confirms the death of former Hungarian Prime Minister Bela Imredy, who was executed in the courtyard of the Academy of Music in Budapest.
The second trial of a former Hungarian government official to be undertaken by the People's Tribunal in Budapest, the trial of former Prime Minister Bela Imredy began on November 14, 1945 in the Budapest Academy of Music and lasted until November 23, 1945. Imredy was charged with responsibility for enacting Hungary's anti-Jewish legislation in 1938 and 1939, as well as with cooperating with the Third Reich, crimes for which he was found convicted and executed on February 28, 1946.
