Oswald Pohl testifies on the witness stand during the I.G. Farben Trial in Nuremberg.
Pohl, the former chief of the SS Economic and Administrative Main Office, was convicted by an American Military Tribunal during the Pohl/WVHA Trial in Nuremberg. While he awaited execution he was called to testify in the I.G. Farben Trial. To prevent violence or suicide Pohl was handcuffed and flanked by American military guards. Pohl's testimony confirmed I.G. Farben's use of concentration camp inmates for slave labor.
