Caption: Polish-Jewish immigrant Tewja Soshnick (center) greets his brother Isidore (left) upon his arrival from Poland aboard the SS Queen Mary.

At the right is Tewja's son, Yachem. Tewja, who lost his business in Poland, will receive a half interest in his brother's new restaurant as a guarantee that he will not become a public charge. His wife and seven other children are expected to arrive in several months.
