Assisted by two other men, a survivor holds up his shirt to display his emaciated condition in the newly liberated Buchenwald concentration camp.

The original caption reads, "This man being helped along by his frends is so weak from the lack of food that he can hardly walk. One of the many hundreds in the same condition at the cap of Weimar Germany." [sic]

According to the Signal Corps caption, the photo was taken on April 14, 1945.
