A pass bearing the word "Liber" (Free) given to Jews at Iasi police headquarters during the pogrom.

The pass was given to a small group of Jews on late Sunday morning, and used as a trick to lure other Jews into turning themselves in to the police. Those who then voluntarily turned themselves in were arrested. After leaving the police station, Jews who held a pass were arrested again.
