An afternoon Hebrew school class poses in front of the synagogue in Troppau (Opava).

Wearing leather coats in the front row are Leo and Milan Goldberger. Their father, Cantor Eugene Goldberger is in the very back. In front of him is is brother-in-law and assistant, Gabor Berkovic. Gabor became chief cantor following Eugene's move to Denmark. He survived the war in hiding.
