    Biography
    Malka Orkin was the daughter of Kalman and Leiba Orkin and the sister of Meir Orkin. Her father was a tailor in Bialystok and her brother, a leader of the Hashomer Hatzair Zionist youth movement. Meir immigrated to Palestine in 1936 and after the war married Haika Grosman. Malka perished during the war.
