Group portrait of a unit of the Polish Home Army [Armia Krajowa].

Among those pictured is Chaim Lingalka, the donor's cousin. Lingalka joined the AK under the alias Adam Sarna. His unit was sent to Italy where it joined forces with the British Army.

Also pictured is Ewald Kroll (second row, third from the right) who joined the AK after first having served as a Volksdeutsch in the Wehrmacht.
