German soldiers stand guard on a street in Czestochowa, where the bodies of Jewish men they have shot, lie on the pavement.

One photograph from an album belonging to a member of a Wehrmacht machine gunners' unit, which was found after the war by Lorenzo Hawkins (the donor's grandfather), an American serviceman in Company B, 56th Armored Engineer Battalion.
