Group portrait of members of the Eisiskes fire department orchestra, which included both Poles and Jews.

Among the Jews pictured are: Bere-Leibke Garmenishki, Shepske Sonenson and Motl Narodowicz (top row, right to left); Menahem Politacki (third row from the front, second from the left, wearing glasses), and Eishke Levin (second row from the front, far left). The Polish conductor Gotowicky, is seated behind the drum. Menahem Politacki immigrated to Palestine before the war; Motl Narodowicz survived the war as a partisan.
