Photograph | Photograph Number: 39375

Portrait of the two Moszczenik brothers

(Right to left), Reb Dovid "der Kichier" and "Reb Zvi-Hersh the Garden Preacher." He earned his nickname since he spoke to his vegetable garden every day. He was also known as the "Reb Zvi-Hersh the Hafetz Hayyim's Preacher", since he raised funds for his Yeshivah. The inscription on the back of the photo reads: "We were photographed in the backyard of Liebke while a snow was falling."
