Hinski family portrait.
Rabbi Israel Yossef Hinski (middle row, third from right), was the last shamash of Eisiskes. Also pictured are (top row, right to left) his daughter Golda-Brahah, his brother Yekutiel, niece Masha Hinski; (middle row) son Alexander Zisl, Reb Israel's wife Taibe-Eidl (nee Kabacznik), and his sister-in-law Esther Hinski; (bottom) daughter Hayya-Sheine, niece Golda Koppelman, and son Avraham-Yaakov.
Alexander Zisl immigrated to Palestine in 1939. Hayya-Sheine died a natural death during the summer of 1941. All the others were murdered by the Germans during the September 1941 killing action in Eisiskes and elsewhere.
