Typewritten copy of a telegram sent by Jules Braunschvig to the French consul in Tangiers requesting visas for 500 Jewish refugees aboard the MS St. Louis.
Braunschvig warns the consul that if the passengers do not receive visas they will be sent back to Germany where they will face imprisonment in concentration camps and even death.
